Greatly improves throttle response and sounds pretty good, super loud on cold starts. Also running a muffl CT-Engineerings Icebox acts a 'cold air conversion' and funnels cold air from below the bumper directly into the filter. The box features oversized intake ducting and smooth bends to insure propper air flow while intake air temperatures are lowered insulating the filter from engine bay heat. The CT Engineering Icebox Air Intake System is designed to pull inlet air from outside the engine compartment to ensure that denser cold air is actually getting to the engine. The design of the ice box is to keep the high rpm hp curve, throttle response, and easy filter access of a short ram intake, while mating it to a cold air intake source that has little to no restriction. Normal short rams get some of the benefits cancelled out from being in the hot engine bay air, so its best to mate it to a cold air source. Your talking about the Comptech Icebox intake.
